ContactMate is an efficient and fun way to call, text, email or Facebook your friends. Arrange an image collage of your favourite contacts and just tap their picture then the relevant button to call, text, email or open the Facebook profile of that contact

ContactMate allows you to link your iPhone contacts with your Facebook friends. You can then retrieve their profile picture as well as open their Facebook profile from which you can send a message, poke etc. Note this requires the Facebook mobile app also be installed on your iPhone.

Images can be repositioned anywhere on the display to create a colourful contact collage. In auto mode contact images are automatically re-sized according to how often you contact them. In manual mode images can be sized and rotated as desired using simple pinch and twist gestures. In both modes maximum and minimum image sizes can be set by the user.

ContactMate also has a stats page with a resettable counter which displays the number of times you call, text and email each contact.

Tips:

* Move the ContactMate application icon to the bottom row of the Springboard so it’s easily accessible from your Home screen.

* Once you have linked a contact to a Facebook friend you can change the iPhone contact picture to their Facebook profile pic by tapping the camera button.

* If you don’t have an image for a contact you can: take a picture of them directly via ContactMate; use a picture you have previously taken; or grab it from the web by opening the image and pressing the Home and Power buttons simultaneously to capture then adding from the camera roll.

* In manual mode double-tap an image to square it and set it to the maximum size; double-tapping a second time sets it to the minimum size.

* In manual mode an image can be re-sized via the pinching gesture and rotated by twisting with two fingers – this may be easiest using your two thumbs.
